Chronic Disease Management

We are committed to managing your chronic illness or complex health needs. We can arrange a GP Management Plan, which helps to coordinate your care with your multidisciplinary team and a Team Care Arrangement which will entitle you to five Medicare subsided visits with an allied health professional each calendar year.

Childhood Immunisations

Obstetric Shared Care

GP Obstetric Shared Care is a care option for pregnant women who are delivering in a public hospital. It allows you to see your GP for most of your pregnancy appointments. We have several GPs at Hughes Clinic who are registered and qualified to provide GP Shared Care.

Preparing for Blood Test

Iron Infusions

Intravenous Iron Infusions are an option for people who have iron deficiency (with or without anaemia). We are pleased to offer Iron Infusions for patients requiring them. For more information click here.

Haematology

Minor Procedures

Our practitioners perform minor surgical procedures. Most commonly these are a biopsy or excision of skin lesions, cryotherapy, wedge resections of ingrown toenails, insertion and removal of Implanon and IUD and more. To read more on this service click here.

Women's Health

We are able to provide management and advice on a wide range of Women's health issues. We have several doctors who offer Obstetric Shared Care and all of our doctors are able to advise on family planning, contraception, sexual health, menopause, cervical screening and breast examinations.

We are pleased to offer our patients aged over 75 years the opportunity to have an annual health assessment. 45-49 Health Assessments

We are pleased to offer a once-off bulk billed health assessment for people aged between 45 -49 years of age, who may already have one or more known risk factors to developing a chronic health condition in the future e.g. diabetes or heart disease.
